For the last 60 years business cycles there has been a comovement of Economic time Series, defined by Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary as a “set of data collected sequentially usually at fixed intervals of time”. Studying the relationship between TX & U. S. employment growth rates over the past few decades allows the TX Real Estate Center at TX A&M economists to offer more informed predictions of regional economic trends. The recession that has hit the nation so hard has been less severe in TX because of employment growth in the education & health services industries & the government section. We have talked about this before also. How fortunate to live in TX!
