Values Up, Sales Down.
Midway through 2007, statistics reveal that the Texas housing market is down 1.2% from last year. While a negative figure is seldom ever thought of as favorable, these numbers do show some promise as markets in the Northeast plunged a staggering 8.8%. However, despite the slight dip in sales, average home values in Smith County have risen from $121,425 to $126,713.
